Plant-Based Campus Petition

By signing or supporting this petition, you support our university adopting 100% plant-based catering.

What this means

  • All internal catering by the university, and by affiliated bodies such as student unions and associations, becomes 100% plant-based.
  • Restaurants, cafes, eateries, vending machines, coffee machines and similar outlets on campus become 100% plant-based.

What we ask for

This food should be:

  • Affordable, so that everyone on campus can eat well.
  • Tasty, so that people choose it and enjoy it.
  • Nutritious, so that students and staff are well fed.
  • Accessible, so that it works for people with different needs and dietary requirements.
  • Culturally relevant, so that it reflects the many food traditions of our campus community.
  • Sustainable, so that our food supports the climate and nature.
